Corrosive fluids or fluids with
very low viscosity's are a problem in terms of the service life.
Hydro Rene Leduc has come up with a particularly innovative solution
to this problem: the transfer pump.
This recently patented
technology involves separating the fluid to be conveyed from the
fluid that actually transfers the pumping energy. The friction parts
operate in a good lubricating fluid, whereas the parts which pump
the fluid to be conveyed are subject to no friction.
This new
and major innovation makes it possible to use sea water, for
example, as the operating fluid for marine applications.
